Attitude of Gratitude

The other morning I woke up to my phone telling me someone is texting me way too early. I reluctantly rolled out of bed and reached for the phone. The message was simple: it’s a girl. Holy Cow! That is better than coffee!! I responded with Congratulations, So happy for ya’ll! My son responded with: She is happy, Im going shotgun shopping. (hahaha)

I was hoping for a little girl, but didn’t want to add any pressure to Brittany, my daughter-in-law. We have some really good looking grandsons, but I just think little & pink will be cute for a change. You just watch she will probably end up tougher than her brothers! Its pretty amazing sitting back and looking at the branches of this tree, what an amazing family we have!

I read somewhere that we need to start our day with an “Attitude of gratitude” and see how that changes things for us. I have made a point of that. When you are thankful for what you have it seems that what you want comes to you. When we pull up in a parking lot and get a close space my hubby looks at me and says grateful and thankful. (that’s is not what I meant but he heard me so that counts!!)

What are some things that have made you thankful lately? Didn’t burn the bread/cookies! They left you some hot water!! Anything counts!
