Not Enough Coffee In A Day!

Rant: Ever notice that the more time you need the less there is available? I figure its just me because I am a professional procrastinator. I often put things off for a few minutes and those minutes turn to hours and days. In my defense.. it is usually to complete something else! Today I worked on my graphics for my ‘Back to School” theme. What should have taken me a few moments turned into an all day project. I got stuck on a color that ultimately didn’t work for me. In the end  I changed everything. Go Figure!

Rave: The kids are gearing up for back to school! The girls are super excited about going into the fifth grade. Ivan is trying to remember his locker combination. This is his first year in middle school so he is looking forward to many changes in his schedule. I introduced Anthony to the principal of the elementary school here the other day. Even though Anthony knows his ABC’s, 123’s, all letter sounds, his vowels, some site words, shapes, colors and all 7 continents, he is not able to start school this year because he is 19 days short of their age requirement. (That last part should be a rant too!)

Fav: One of my guilty pleasures – reality television. I have the live feeds for Big Brother 13 and watch them too often (might be where some of that lost time goes now that I think about it!) Jeff and Jordan are two of my favorites and I wish them luck! Jeff and Jordan FTW!!!

  1. Hi Nana Poppins! Thanks for stopping by my blog and following! I’m returning the follow! I agree that the more you need to do, the less time there seems to be available… or in my case… the more urgently I need to finish something on my computer, the more likely it is that the computer will break. It’s happened several times… and ALWAYS when I’m working on something SUPER important, like, say, someone’s wedding photos!

Anyway, I’m rambling here… but tomorrow’s Friday — Yay!!! I hope you have a relaxing weekend and thanks again for stopping by! Hope to see your smiling face at my blog again soon!
