100 Days Challenge

I was reading The Becker’s Blog, and saw her post about John “the Penguin” Bingham and his 100 Days Challenge. What a great resolution for the new year!

Here is his plan:
“Beginning January 1, 2011, the challenge is to move – intentionally – for 30 minutes a day for 100 days in a row. It doesn’t matter what it is. You can move for 30 minutes once, 15 minutes twice, or 10 minutes three times. You can park your car and walk around the block on your way to work. You can take your dog out for a walk. You can dance, or skip, or do whatever makes YOU happy. You just need to move.”

I joined!! Thanks so much Shawn for sharing this link and bringing such a great idea to my attention! It’s already Day 1 and I haven’t started yet, unless chasing the grandkids counts, so my plan is to post this and go move!

Update: Went for a walk with the my hubby! Day 1= Done!

      That’s awesome Pat. This 100 Day gig could go along with what you are doing anyway 🙂 Not that Im suggesting you do anything different hehe (yep read that post and boy do I know where you are coming from!)

  2. Would it make you feel better if you had family support but I may try to get Tiff and myself in it tomorrow. We’ll start a day later but going cold turkey was hard enough for me and it’s already past midnight here.

      If you start tomorrow it will be your first day of 100 days 🙂 I think it would be great to see more people doing this.. its easy! Good Luck with all your resolutions! I love ya chic!
