Tea, toast and Tivo!

Today is a lazy day for me. I feel like I have been moving at warp speed and my body hasn’t caught up yet. The plan is to take it easy, catch up on some TV I’ve missed and do nothing else! I have a weeks worth of shows Tivo’d, time to clear them out!

My Tivo and I are the best of friends! I love that it allows me the convenience of watching TV on my schedule and not the networks schedule. My days are busy, often times I remember a show I wanted to watch days later.

With my Tivo, I set it up in the list to record and all I have to do is turn on the TV and watch. Its not as forgetful as I am!

Im also able to rent movies with a few different resources online. Amazon ‘Video on Demand’ is my preference! The beauty of it is no late fees! I rent, I watch, Im done.

Lately the show I record most is “Imagination Movers” from the Disney channel. It’s Anthony’s favorite show! They usually show it in the mornings and we don’t have time to watch. Sometimes in the afternoon he will ask if he can watch the movers, that usually means “nap-time” for him! It is nice to have a variety of episodes available.

Do you Tivo? What shows are in your season pass list?

  1. I heart DVRs! I record Castle, Vampire Diaries, Say Yes to the Dress, and trashy reality TV shows like the Bachelor and Teen Mom!

  2. Nana Poppins says

    Oh I forgot to say which ones have! I record castle, grey’s anatomy, brother and sisters. I love reality (or not) tv like survivor, amazing race and even The Bachelor(ette) lol.

  3. Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love the title of yours! My kids call their grandmothers Nana and Mimi! And I also DVR! I love being able to record all the shows I’d never have time to watch otherwise.

  4. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and giving me all those tips! No TIVO here but I do love Glee, Brothers & Sisters and Dancing with the Stars. I watch them online if I miss an episode (which is often)!

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am now following you!

  6. We don’t TiVo, but we’ll often download/stream a show online to watch when we have time. Our favorites are The Office and Mythbusters right now, and anything Disney for our girls 🙂 Thanks for the follow, following ya back, such a cute blog!

  7. Thanks for following Mommy Time Out

  8. Hi, following back from bloggy moms. I don’t tivo but I do like Glee and Vampire Diaries. Maybe I need to try a TV show in the afternoon for my 2 year old who seems to be growing out of his nap.

  9. I DVR Little People, Big World, Vampire Diaries, The Office, Parks and Rec, 3rd Rock, I have alot of my favorite Little House on the Prairie’s 🙂

    I know how you feel about it being your ‘best friend’ I ♥ knowing that I can watch ANYTHING I want when I am done w/ kids and chores. It’s just me and my DVR everyday for about a good hour =}

    I want to THANK YOU again for reading and commenting. You lifted my blog spirits when they were getting to an all time low. ((hugs 2 you))

  10. YOU are one special lady!!!!! ((hugs♥))
