What’s for dinner?

I get that alot.

Sundays are family meals with all of my family. My daughter-in-law (Kristen) and I swap each week to help take off the pressure. We hit each other up for ideas of what to make. I always try to think of something we haven’t had in a while. The kids always suggest pizza and sometimes we do make them at home! My sister (Joan) makes the best pizza dough , rolls, bread and muffins around so we usually hit her up on those Sundays. Sometimes the hardest part is coming up with desserts that will work for all.

I have a few obstacles in my way when planning meals. 3 of the 4 children are allergic to dairy. Two of them are allergic to citrus. My Dad has heart issues so we reduce salt and watch out for other dietary needs of his. We also have a few diabetics in the bunch. My son (Ken) and I are known to be slightly picky. Incorporating health issues and pickiness into meal planning has just become a way of life for us, and sometimes we just give in and have the occasional “not so healthy” meal.

If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them! (or read them)

  1. Spaghetti always feeds a crowd.

  2. Nana Poppins says

It sure does! Thank you for the idea though 🙂
