Fro~Pro~Yo!

In May the doctor gave me some news that had me rethinking my diet. Since then I have lost 25 lbs and 15 inches! That has taken a ton of work!! I have to get creative with different recipes to keep it interesting. The other day I went to the kitchen and was getting out the stuff out to make a protein ‘smoothie.’

I wanted ice cream but was settling. Why settle? I took the nonfat yogurt and put it in my blender. I added a scoop of chocolate protein powder. Hmm what else could make this taste like ice cream.. I looked in the cabinet and saw unsweetened cocoa powder!! I added Stevia and whipped. I put this in my freezer and two hours later I had a bowl of – FroProYo!  Tada!

Fro-Pro-Yo!

Recipe ~
2 cups – Nonfat Plain Yogurt
2 Tbsp – Unsweetened Cocoa
2 scoops – Protein Powder
2 packets – Stevia in the Raw
Blend together then put in freezer.

Serves 4

130 Calories, 14g Carbs, 2g Fat, 18g Protein, 174g Sodium, 6g Sugar
